haha only if the dentist is out of the room or somehting? personally, if the dentist was working on me i wouldnt want to have a convo with someone shadowing..
smile often, say hello when the dentist introduces u, thank you when the patient leaves, otherwise, speak when spoken to, i say? or if u are sitting tehre staring at them while the dentist is out of the area.
I always talk to patients and help them to relax while the anesthesia kicks in....I learned not to say OH WOW!!! or OMG!!!! I enjoy getting them from the waiting room, walk them to the chair, get the bib on, and offer a Margarita.....just kidding 😀
haha yeah i guess i should have clarified...typically i would go into the room after the dentist has administered anesthesia and before the procedure begins to speak with the patient...i wouldnt be like 'oh so you have two kids' while the dentist is grinding down a molar lol...
and yeah typically its not good to make faces or be like 'ooooooooo what is that Dr. Dentist!!!'
