Hey I attached a pattern folding question im having difficulty with. Ignore the stuff under the question lol. Anyways after a lot of thinking i've come to the conclusion that both B and D work if you fold the figure up out of the page. I even made the pattern and folded it myself and both answers work however the answer key says D is the answer. Is this just a bad problem or is there a problem with the way I am seeing this question. You are allowed to fold the patterns up and out of the page correct? Unless there is a rule stating you are only allowed to fold into the page that im not aware of 😕 Any help would be appreciated.

If I am understanding you correctly, you need to fold down. Imagine cutting the figure out. The top side has the markings you need to fold. The back side is blank. You only fold in... Does that make sense? Sorry if that's confusing...

so you can't fold up out of the page then?

only into the page. trust me! I had this issue when I first started studying for PAT too but I looked it up on other threads. I remember reading from another OP that for all you know, a big pink elephant is on the other side of what's shown. ALWAYS INTO THE PAGE!
