Pattern folding question

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I remembered this one, kaplan practice test 3. Look the key shape which is a circle connect with a rectangular, it is a cylinder when you fold it. Since there is only one circle, it means only one side cylinder is exposed. Just think how you gonna calculate the surface area of a cylinder, it is two circles and a rectangular or square.
Hope it helps.

This is A right... if so this one is fast and I got it quickly... the trick to pattern folding is taking the odd shape and figuring that out first... the cylinder is formed with that circle and clearly it goes on top of a box. so that leaves a and b. B has 2 the original only shows one circle used to form a cylinder so B is out and a is in

It's A

Just look at the circle with the rectangle underneath. That'll form the cylinder. Can't be B, because there isn't 2 cylinders from this..obviously

C and D are a bit off placement-wise

the curve in D is off by a smidge

I'm pretty sure we've established that something is sticking out and C would not fit that description...
