Pattern Folding Rules

I noticed that in many pattern folding solutions they have many folding rules that allow them to manipulate the object by moving segments of the pattern elsewhere to better visualize the object.

Is there anything out there that has these rules for common objects (cubes, ect)? I feel like this would be super valuable.

I haven't seen anything other than what you just said (folding certain pieces/cutting). For more information, try Youtube or if you have DAT Bootcamp, I enjoyed their PAT solutions. Best of luck.
