Hi, on the practice that I have done so far, I see some shapes to be repetitive in pattern folding. For example, the cubes, the zigzag, the triangular prisms, etc, so I've become good at mapping those in my head. Are these similar to the real DAT or will they mostly be all new shapes?

Based on my recent experience, most of them (maybe like 2/3 of them) were the "typical" shapes that I saw from when I was practicing (I'm assuming you're using BootCamp?), including those you mentioned like cubes and prisms. If you're doing consistently well on your practice questions, you should be good to go with any type of question, really.

I had a lot of cubes and some prisms, but there were new shapes as well. Being able to map common ones is good, as long as you're prepared to mentally fold new shapes too.
