Hi everyone. I'm really curious to know if people have been using more creative methods of paying for dental school such as creating an agreement with some sort of organization or group to serve in a third-world country abroad somewhere in exchange for them to pay for a year of your dental school.
I really want to have an opportunity to serve somewhere else but if I have to pay for dental school and am expected to start paying back loans right after I graduate from dental school then I'll never be able to work abroad and help those who really need it.
Anyway, any ideas as to programs/groups/organizations that support this would be helpful. Thanks!
