Hello again!

Any SGU Pre-vet attendees out there? How do you get funding for the pre-vet program? Private loans only, or can you get a federal loan?

Any SGU Pre-vet attendees out there? How do you get funding for the pre-vet program? Private loans only, or can you get a federal loan?

i don't know the answer to this question (other then the DVM program has federal loans available). i'll try and ask the couple of people in my class that came from the pre-vet program, but your best bet would be to email admissions/Jeffery Bates ([email protected]) to ask how it all works.

p.s. if you find out its all private loans, i'd stay in the states for pre-vet. i love it down here, but the substantially increased financial burden isnt worth it IMO. Also, students in the pre-vet program have to maintain a certain GPA and pass a QE at the end of the curriculum to matriculate into the DVM program.
