has anyone actually gotten into pharmacy school with a pcat score in the range or 50 to 60. i am just curious as to know the compatition into pharmacy school especially a public one.

A score of 50 on the PCAT is generally considered a "passing score". An 85 or above is generally considered a "good" score.

Infrequently, but yes.

A pharmacist I recently worked with told me she got into TSU with ~50 on the PCAT, but had a 3.98 GPA. She graduated in 2003.

i actually i have a friend that got accepted into pharmacy school with low 50 PCAT score. The friend did have a 3.7 GPA though........so it is possible to get into a school with low score.
But not very often.

I think it would suit you best if you spend some time to study and retake the test..i would recommend using mcat prep test, do the sections that will be on the pcat.

I got in with a 63, 3.71 gpa, all prereqs done at a community college, some volunteer experienceo. Anything is possible if you really want it.

Many schools are really looking at the complete person, not just scores. In the future, there will be a lot more patient interaction, so you have to be person-savy as well as smart.
