The problem with the current Examkrackers book for Biology is that it is passage-based to mimic the MCAT more. That is, the questions revolve around a PCAT reading comprehension-like passage where you have to get some info from the passage and make inferences about it. PCAT questions are the PCAT-equivalent of MCAT discrete questions, questions that are direct and self-containing.

Also, the MCAT is slanted toward physiology and other 2nd and 3rd year science courses whereas the PCAT is slanted more toward cell biology and general biology with a few general questions about MCAT content.

Basically, I would recommend a different book or at least the Examkrackers Biology study guide as opposed to the 1001 series. The 1001 Questions in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Verbal Reasoning books from Examkrackers is fine if you can distinguish overkill information from relevant information, but the Biology one is too different from what the PCAT requires of you.🙂
