I looked at practice tests in cliffs and it seems like 1/3 of the material in the chemistry section is from organic chem.
I was going to concentrate on gen chem, but now I'm confused.
😕🙂

You need to know both. Chemistry is integral to becoming a pharmacist, so that's why there's an emphasis on the subject.

Is there a lot of chemistry problems and are the equations given? Also, is the chemistry section split up into general and organic like the biology section.

The chemistry section is an entire section in the PCAT. The section is not split up. You shouldn't have any problems though if you passed your Gen chem and Ochem classes. They won't be asking you to construct pathways or anything ridiculous. You should know basic knowledge like the strong acids and bases, as well as how to do basic electrochemistry given the numbers. Again, nothing complicated because you should be able to do every question between 30 seconds and a minute.
