PCAT Essay Question

I wrote my PCAT on Friday September 14th, and was wondering if it actually takes 5 weeks in order to recieve our essay scores?

Also, does anyone know how difficult they mark for the essay? I need a minimum of 3/6. I’m generally a good writer and felt confident with my solutions.

took me exactly 5 weeks to receive my official transcript online.
They are real easy graders on the essay in my opinion. I wrote a bull**** essay and still got a 3/6.

Good question @macncheeze! An essay score of 3 is deemed satisfactory. For example, there may be errors in certain English language conventions or in the organization of the essay. The graders typically look at logical arguments, quality of solutions, essay structure, grammar, spelling, and syntax.

Once you get your score back, you can try and correlate your essay with those elements mentioned above. Good luck!
