Hello Every one Iam willing to take my pcat exam in january 2015, and i have a full time job too which does not allow me so much time for study.Please if anyone took pcat exam recently can guide me from where i can study and i am away from school more than five years that is also giving me trouble to brush my memory in chemistry and biology. English is my second language and I am not good in vocabloury and analogies.The minimun score I need is 70 to be accepted in pharmacy program.Please help me and guide me.

You can post your questions in the PCAT forum for more advice...

It depends on the individuals really... But I see most people who score high (80-90s) on the PCAT do the following:

-buy and practice with Dr. Collins for 1-3 months

-buy and test yourself with Pearson sample exams

-if it is difficult for you to score high in VA and vocab/analogy sections, try to score absurdly high in bio/chem/math to compensate

Regarding the minimum PCAT for you to get accepted, it depends on the schools you are applying and the rest of your app. 50-70s is generally considered good and competitive these days. Heck, People even got accepted with 10-20s into good/established schools. The later you apply, the lower the bar is likely going to be as more and more schools are opening.... I also recommend you to learn as much as you can about pharmacy, student debts for pharmacy schools, and job prospect before committing yourself into this field... 😉
