PCAT- when to retake??

So I just took the PCAT for the first time in July and didn't do very well. I plan on retaking it but I'm unsure of whether to register late for the September testing, or wait until October. I'm worried that waiting until October is too late and my scores won't be sent in time to show on my application. Any help is much appreciated!

I was thinking about taking it in October too, but Im going to take it in September because pharmcas takes five weeks to finalize and submit everything; taking it in october will be applying very last minute = less chance of getting into pharmacy school this cycle.
