PCAT Writing Section Should Be Removed

Let me put it this way. The PCAT is NOT an "indicator of a test-taker's writing skills". The PCAT is testing your ability to take the PCAT.
Actually the PCAT is not an indicator of a person's skills AT ALL!! It just tests if people can think quickly and solve problem in a very limited amount of time. I really dont think a test score should be a reflective of your four years of long and hard work and studying. PCAT will be removed in general lol

IMO they should keep a standardized test like the PCAT open.

How are you going to compare person X with a 4.00 GPA who goes to a community college to person Y with a 3.00 GPA who goes to a UC or Ivy League school? You require a standardized test, where everyone is on the same playing field, to be taken.

If GPA is that important, then everyone would be going to a CC instead. There would be no point in challenging yourself and taking hits to your GPA by going to a much tougher institution.

problem solving in a limited amount of time is basically what pharmacists do
