Is it required to complete the writing section in a pen? Can I do it with a pencil?

I don't believe you are allowed to have a pen during the test at all...plus it's hit or miss if the pencil can be mechanical or not (proctor dependent), although I believe the Pearson guidelines say no mechanical pencils.

You have to use pencil for the entire test...and it's ok if they are mechanical, as long as they are #2..
