PCAT Writing Topics

This year will be the first time I take the PCAT. Without giving too much away, what will the writing topic(s) be about? Opinion/argument, scientific topics, etc....?

Mine was a political argument. Was quite disappointed because I thought it would be a science topic. I mean, seriously, my topic had nothing to do with pharmacy except proving that you could argue effectively.

It'll be somewhat like an argument piece where you have to support your reasoning while acknowledging alternatives and exceptions. It's not too difficult in principle if you plan out in the first five minutes of the section, but its a test to see how much command and knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary you have when making an argument.

The idea isn't to have the "correct" response, it's about how you express yourself in a random situation.
