december 20th 2007. hold list. then i am told via email to write an addendum about my OD experiences/ shadowing.

ill be looking for something other than optometry while i wait for interviews. got another one at Nova in march.

sharpshooter...did you get placed on the alternate list or did they just tell you they were putting your application on hold? I just came back from an IU interview and I know IU told us that if they placed an app on hold all it means was that the admissions committee had a question about something in the application and once that was cleared up they will meet again and its usually good since they wouldn't spend the time questioning something on your application if they definitely knew they would not accept that applicant. So if you're placed on hold that might not be too bad. Good luck on your Nova interview!

Call Jaime (I remember her name because her name is same as mine with different spelling.). She will be very happy to help you unless she already handed your file to the committee.

I got an acceptance email 3 weeks after my interview and a formal accpetance letter following week. Relax and try to talk to them. Unlike NECO or SUNY, they are very helpful. (I had a bad impression with NECO admission counselor.)
