hey everyone,
I've been invited to have an interview at PCO and I wanted to know if this is part of their application process or if they only contact people they think are competitive applicants.
Also anyone with experience on interviews here?

Pretty late. Near the end of January.when did you submitted your application ?
Thanks a lot! And thanks for the tips.I had their interview back in December. PCO told me in an email that not everybody gets an interview so congrats! Their interview is pretty relaxed for the most part. You first meet one on one with an academic advisor where they ask you questions to get to know you better. They then will review your file and discuss certain parts they find particularly interesting. After that, you have a group interview with other candidates with a professor from the school (at least at my interview it was a professor). He asked each candidates one question each. That was probably the only obstacle of their interview.
Best of luck!
Thanks! No Optometry school is going to invite every applicant for an interview. Schools interview students they think will be good for their program. The interview is used to make sure the applicant would be a good fit. If you've been invited for an interview, then you've made the cut on paper (most of the time). Do keep in mind though that schools interview more applicants than they have spaces available, because they know that not every acceptance letter they send out will mean a student in the upcoming class. You still need to be a competitive interviewer, but an interview invite is cause for rejoicing, so... good job.
I thought PCO interviewed everyone basically. but maybe I am wrong.hey everyone,
