Is all or part of the $2000 PCOM second deposit refundable should I decide to go to another school?

I don't believe so. I was faced with $2K at GA PCOM, but dodged it at the VERY last minute with a w/l acceptance.

On several pieces of information, it said non-refundable.

no its not refundable. it goes twards tution- I guess they had some probs w students backing out of acceptances- thats the only reason I can see for having such a high deposite amount- I paid it 2 weeks ago,

Could somebody please enlighten me? I'm a 2006 applicant applying to both allopathic and osteopathic schools. At what point do they make you pay the $2,000?

Is it within a strict time period post acceptance, or do you have months to see where you gain other acceptances before paying this second deposit?

😕

That 2 grand is the final, May 15, "i'm holding a spot at your school and nowhere else" deposit. So yeah, if you were accepted in the late fall, you will have had plenty of time to think it over. But if you're on a waiting list...$2000 is a lot to part with when you're unsure.
