So I just got a letter from PCOM, big envelope...but from the Financial Aid Department. Funny how the first line says, "Congratulations on your acceptance to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine!"
But here's the thing, just a few days ago I received a letter from the Admissions Office that I was on the alternate list and would hear before the end of April, but also got an email to ignore that letter and that I was on the alternate list... 😕

So which is happening here?
I'm gonna call later, but what do you guys think?

1. A mess up and I'm still an alternate.
2. They just do things that way in Penn, alternates get Fin Aid info.
3. Yup dude, you've been accepted...shut up and decide!

No votes?

Well turns out they confused themselves, the email was for me to disregard the letter the financial aid department hadn't sent yet. 😕

Strange school, and Carol Fox was not very kind over the phone... 🙄

What did your alternate list letter entail exactly? I got a letter from PCOM, but I don't know if it means I'm on the alternate list, it definately wasn't a accept/rejection letter.

Call and ask for Deborah Benvinger- she's been extremely helpful and eager to answer any questions I had. Also, don't hesitate to leave a message for her, as she was great at returning calls relatively promptly
