Just wanted to hear if anyone knew about this claim. I have read in several discussions inside and outside of school (including a few advisors) that PCOM (Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine) like to admit Penn State University graduates especially. Anyone in PCOM that can honor this claim?

Sure there are more PSU students in my class than from any other college, but since around 2/3 of the class is from PA and PSU has more students than any college in the state, that is expected. Plus PCOM lobbies at PSU. There are quite a few Pitt and E-town students as well. PCOM probably feels comfortable with PSU b/c they see so many of their students. They are able to can judge what their GPA mean as well whatt to expect of the students. It is not like your chances of acceptance are bad if you did not go to PSU. By the way I did not go to PSU.
