So I last took the MCATs in July of 2007. However, I want to apply to PCOM but it seems that they accept your MCAT scores only if its within 3 years of matriculation.

Has anyone else here had to deal with this situation or is there any way of having to avoid retaking the MCATs again? Any advice on what to do?

Emailing the school hasn't helped and when I called the lady who answered was really vague and couldn't give me a straight answer. Thanks in advance.

If you're applying this cycle, it would fall within the 3 year window. If you're applying for Class of 2015 or beyond, then you will have to retake as per the 3 year window you state.

If you add a year to last year's info from the 2009 CIB, then 10/07 will be the latest MCAT they'd accept. But I've seen many exceptions to the info listed in places like the CIB, so I'd email the dean of admissions and ask directly. If that doesn't work, keep calling until you get a straight answer from a couple different people to confirm what the others say. They're probably pretty busy right now, but will become more friendly to 09-10 applicants after Julyish.

Does anybody know if the 2010 CIB will be download-able for free?
I am wondering if I should buy it.

No idea yet. It might just be for charge right now since it was released earlier than usual....but maybe they're changing their model to one of the for charge MSAR. I hope not, though. If it's not free in the next two months, I'd bust out your Visa.
