For the PCOM Secondary, there isn't a word/character limitation. How long do you think it should be? The second question asks about health care related experiences. Should I just list them? Should I describe them? Any suggestions?

I would stick around the 500 word limit for all your secondary essays. Be sure to get you point across quickly without extra filler words. Put yourself in their shoes, if you saw a two page essay come across your desk - - would you want to read the entier thing? Especially with 3000 of them coming across your desk in an application year. That is what I am doing for all my secondaries.

I wrote about 10 sentences on why i wanted to be a DO and about half a page on why i wanted to go to pcom. I just mentioned the few things i liked and stated in a couple of sentence why.
I would agree with MARK, keep it short and to the point.

What about for UMDNJ essay?
It says to write about academic and non academic experiences which have prepared you for medical school and also strengths and weaknesses in relation to your preparation for med school.
Should I keep that to 500 words too?
My UMDNJ secondary was a page in length. It says that you can attach an additional page BUT i wouldn't go crazy and write two full pages! I already feel bad that they have to read so many of these, so just say what you want concisely and you'll be all set.
WesternU/COMP application has four essay questions, one per page. How did you guys handle that? Did you guys take up the entire page per essay or 500 words still apply? Thanks!
