Hi

Is anyone here familiar with these osteopathic surgery programs?

PCOM surgery (Philly)
St. Barnabas surgery (Bronx)
Wyckoff surgery (Brooklyn)

can anyone compare them or give info. about them? I am having a hard time finding 411 on them. Thanks in advance.

Anyone? bump

That's right, there's no info @ scutwork on these surgical programs. anyone know of any other site where residents of these programs can be found or program reviews? thanks

I don't know anything about these programs, but I do know a surgeon who graduated from wyckoff and he is a very good surgeon. I rotated with him as a 3rd year and I was impressed then and now. He felt it was a good program and they rotate through memorial sloan kettering(sp) for surgical onc. Thats all I've got. Sorry

Welcome to the void we all know as "information on osteopathic surgical programs".🙂 I do not have specific info on any of those 3, but I do have 2 classmates who matched at PCOM last year, and they are pretty bright, dedicated people. From what I've heard, PCOM is a "good" program, but unfortunately, I cannot list any specifics as to why it's good.

I hope you get some more responses; don't give up.

St Barnabas is very good for trauma experience, also they now have a DO plastic surgery fellowship and a crtical care fellowship is in the works.

Good luck!
