I need help answering the why PCOM question for both locations. Please give me something unique about each school to write about. I've checked their websites. Thank you so much!

If you don't know why you want to attend PCOM, then how are WE supposed to know why you want to attend PCOM?

Applying to schools can be an expensive process, so I'd suggest you apply only to the schools that you'd really like to attend, and know yourself well enough to understand why YOU want to attend those schools. My reasons for going there are completely different from other students'. An interview committee, people of which I know on the committee, is going to know whether your answers to "why PCOM?" are just some fabricated "give me something unique" bologna, or if the answer is genuine. Write your own answers and have them mean something to you, or else you'll flounder around in the interview.

Uhh thanks?... I was asking if PCOM has anything unique/set it apart from other schools as the website doesn't mention much. I just want common information on the school that is usually posted on their websites. I'm not looking to plagiarize. Whatever.

Come on down and find out for yourself 🙂 (just make an appointment first). Perhaps you will find out how you truly feel about the school. If anything, it'll give you something to talk about in your interview.

I would only apply to one of the two eventually- I was interviewed and got accepted at phili and heard nothing from atlanta- It makes sense that they wouldn't want to clog up the interview process with a person that would eventually turn down one slot at one of the two school sto take the other- it will save you some $.. As for PCOM phili- I liked it alot and I looked at alot of schools. It has a sig amount of history- 100+ yrs in existance and a good rep- whatever that means- amung local physicians. I pretty much think a DO is DO, actallu a doc is a doc, no matter where they went to school- unless you want to do reasearch then A research school is obviously a preference. Go where u get in is my 2 cents
