For those who have applied to PCOM (and/or the Georgia campus), what type of LOR did you send from your school? I am sending a composite letter from my graduate program, but do they only want to get letters from your undergrad institution? I have been out of my undergrad for several years and the committee doesn't really send out stuff after you have graduated. Thanks.

I sent a composite letter from undergrad. I am currently enrolled in a graduate program at a different university. So I had some people write me letters at grad school and sent it to my undergrad. They put together a composite letter for me.

hmmm, thanks....my graduate program offers the services of putting together these pre-med packets and writing the composite letter. no other schools have objected to this yet, so i was just wondering.....

I would call their admissions office and check. I have read on this site that PCOM specifically requires a comittee letter from your degree (undergrad) granting institution. You may be fine with what you have but you don't want to get screwed our of a possible interview. Also, I would reccommend doing this ASAP as it is getting kinda late in the admissions cycle.

Yeah....I got an email today from PCOM-Georgia saying that I would get an interview, if they receieved my LOR. Well, my composite letter and my physician letter were both sent back in either Oct or Nov, but neither of the admissions has them when I called this morning. I find it strange they have no record of either, when I know other schools have received them. I had my school resend it but its pretty annoying. I've read some bad stuff about the office staff when you call from people on here and I don't want to get on anyone's bad side......

I didn't have a committee letter, got interview offers at both schools, went to GA and got accepted.

I used interfolio.com and had five letters forwarded. It had my ugrad logo on it somehow 😕 I've been a graduate for several years now.
