aaron,
first of all, thank you for your reply. i do sympathize with admissions committees at all schools because i see first hand what our director goes through. she is always trying to balance her work between taking care of us in our program as well as reviewing applications, interviewing applicants, and even recruiting at colleges. as i said, my comments are from VERY LIMITED experience with the school. i have not said that they are a bad school but i feel that i must now take a really good, long look at the school when i am there.
i guess my frustration stems from the fact that this whole application process is very stressful and the program that i am in adds even more stress on top of that (imagine applying to med schools as an MSI). last year i applied and received no interviews and so far this year i have received 2 interviews before january which makes me very excited yet anxious.
my comments were mainly in response to the previous poster (pikevillemedstudent) who stated that i might not be interested in PCSOM, which couldn't be further from the truth. i'll admit that they are not first on my list but to say that i do not sound interested in PCSOM is simply is not true. why would i have applied to PCSOM to begin with then? i have read a lot about the school and everything looks promising...that's why i applied. the interview will hopefully reflect everything that i have read about the school.
