I had a similar incident from VCOM. I was called by the admissions lady to tell me that they wanted me to fill out a secondary, and I never heard anything else from them. Kinda wierd. Anyway, I am sorry that you never recieved anything from PCSOM. I am not for sure how PCSOM does thier waitlist, but one of the current students there told me that the class was full about two weeks ago. If you get accepted there, they inform you with 3 to 5 days of your interview. They told us during my interview that it is tough to get into PCSOM if you reside outside of the Appalachian region. However, several of my classmates are from places like TX, CT, MS, and MI.
It is hard to get hold of anyone in the offices at Pikeville. I know the financial aid officer is on maternity leave. I guess they stay very busy. Whenever I called the dean's office, they would usually get back to me within a day or so.
Hey Amy, did your friend get accepted anywhere else?
