I like to read PDFs on my laptop but getting sick of scrolling. Can anyone recommend a flip book program so that I can turn the pages as if I was reading a regular book?

You can get rid of the scrolling in Adobe PDF Reader simply by putting it in single page mode instead of continuous mode. If you then select the zoom option to fit the page to the window, you can click the scroll bar to go forward or back one page at a time. You can also put it in reading mode and set it to full-screen to make it look almost exactly like an e-book reader. Use the cursor keys to turn the pages in full-screen mode.

drop your PDFs into evernote (www.evernote.com), read the PDF inside evernote viewer and you can click an arrow at the top to "turn the page". you will also have the benefit of having ALL your PDFs searchable through evernote. this is handy when you're looking for that one article in AAPM&R by Finnoff on ultrasound - said articles will pop up for you (as long as you already saved them of course)😀

you can also view the PDFs in this manner on your iphone or any other mobile device that has internet access.

anything you want to bring with you after residency that is currently on an intranet site or templates on word can be copy/pasted into notes in your account and you'll have it forever - my seniors are doing this now👍

I'm an Evernote addict. It's great having all my notes up in the cloud and accessible from anywhere.

I'm not so sure about evernote, I never really got into it all that much but then again maybe I haven't really tried it's features fully.

It took me two tries - the first time I kind of dabbled with it, went "meh," and kept using my cobbled-together solution, but then I tried it again after watching some videos on how people use it, and found it much more useful. I don't know if they added a lot more features from my first time or if I just didn't know how to find those features, but either way, I can't do without now.
