Ok here is my dilemma, I know this might sound strange but hear me out. I just got my NBME shelf exam grades for Pharmacology (80) and Pathology (84). I?m a little concerned that I might be peaking too soon and by the time I take the step exam (mid June) that I will not be at my optimum level. I really want to do well on it since I had to retake a freshman class during the summer (adjustment disorder). I?m also nervous because I really think that I guessed a lot on the path test and got lucky. I don?t want to have that feeling for the step exam. Any suggestions on how not to peak too early and to feel as if I?m ready to take the exam would be appreciated.

What I always try to do it think about sports. I try to name the starting players of the USC football team or something like that.
