I was wondering if there were certain DO schools that would be better to attend if I were interested in pediatrics, or some pediatric specialty.

I saw this and I thought it was going to be about a DO school for kids. That would have been awesome. OMM instead of social studies.

Those kids would just be picked last in dodgeball by the MD elementary kids.

Anyway OP, no ... I don't think there is a school known for matching into Peds. I wouldn't worry about matching Peds though. DOs have great match rates into MD and DO programs. Go where you want to and work hard!!

I think they'd kick the a$$es of the md kids. Most of the osteopathic people I know are far more athletic than the md kids. 😛

It doesn't matter what school you go to despite your interest..pediatrics is a field of medicine that will be conquered once you finish medical school. No school will simply put emphasis on peds and ignore rest of the imp part of your education. Also peds is one of the least competitive fields so you will be alright..just pass med school.
