Hey guys!
i am currently a second yr resident in Peds. Thinking of applying to teh GI fellowship. But have come across most of the hospitals have the NIH grant, so they end up taking the Green cards or the citizens. There are about 4-5 places that offer H1 or J1.
What do you think.. is it reallllly that competitive in the real world as well?

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean by "really that competitive in the real world." Are you asking if it's that difficult to find jobs after completing fellowship?

I meant that its hard to get through, esp for an IMG like myself. Any clues?
