Hi,
I've read past posts on this topic but I'd appreciate any further information/anecdotes on ped hospitalist. Previously I had considered being an Internal Medicine Hospitalist (I prefer inpatient setting over outpt) and through some research I found that hospitalists in general tend to make more than their outpatient counterparts, although they also tend to work longer (and sometimes more erratic) hours. Could any current or future ped hospitalists offer any comments as to typical arrangements, ie hours and income?
Thanks in advance
Brian
