Am currently doing my rotation in the pulm dept, ive looked for some books on ebay but most of them are 1000+pages... Any good books that will be helpful for someone doing his residency?

I can't think of any concise overviews, but definitely some specific chapters.

Asthma. Read all about it. What do we treat it with and why? There's more than just albuterol.
RSV and non RSV bronchiolitis. 'Tis the season.
Chronic lung disease (specifically in the context of premature infants that have survived). How does it affect the child who gets RSV?
