Hi there
I was wondering I've hear that most peds specialties are very research intensive. Does anyone know how much time a peds specialist would spend on research in comparison to patient care? I know it probably vary from specialty to specialty, but any info is appreciated.

It varies. I know an (adult) immunologist who only sees patients one-half-day per week and is on the wards as an attending one month a year. Certain specialties like medical genetics, immunology, heme/onc, etc can have similar schedules. It really depends on what you are interested in.
