Pediatrics Research (the journal)?

Any thoughts on the quality/reputation/reach of this journal? I just had a pub accepted there, but I don't usually publish in peds journals.

It's fine. JAMA Pediatrics and Pediatrics are definitely the bigger names, but there just aren't a ton of landing spots for peds-specific content.

Caveat that it's been a while since I've read for gen peds content 🙂 But I at least recognize the name of the journal.

Yeah, it’s fine. It’s more basic science oriented that most other pediatric oriented journals.

Pediatric Research is a very highly respected journal. It is not as high readership volume as the main pediatric journals like J Peds and Pediatrics but an article there is usually well-done and thought of as a solid placement.
