Congrats! That's my former program.
Metrohealth just called and left a message offering an interview. Didn't say exactly when in the message.
To be finished with interviews?? I know I am! The whole process was exhausting. I guess there are a few more interviews left for some people though.
Now to get part II over and done on Wednesday and Thursday... I'm off to study!
. Good luck everybody, the waiting begins but with the holidays it will go by fast, considering we have to certify our match list by January 8th. It was nice to know I wasn't doing this alone.
I just had to shout from the mountain top - I am IN!!!! I got a non-match position. Good luck to all of you that are inputting your match choices now. I'll keep up on the site especially Jan 8th to see what is up with everyone.I just had to shout from the mountain top - I am IN!!!! I got a non-match position. Does anyone have any information on post match, what do you need to do on the 25th if you don't match? Thanks and congrats to those who have been accepted!!Words cannot describe how glad I am. I just hope i don't have to do it again next year. I fear a mental breakdown. Congratulations!!!I have recently visited DC Childrens. I really like the program. Do you mind sharing your grades, board scores and other strengths that helped you to get in?YES FINALLY! DC Childrens
Has anyone heard back from Loma Linda? Both rejection/ acceptance emails?
Has anyone heard anything from NSU/Nova. I thought the non-match programs waited until last second before match to contact you, but I got an e-mail from them last week saying that I would be officially notified "shortly". Of course with the holidays, I don't know what shortly means.
I'm certifying my list next week. I'm going strictly by location. All programs had their strengths and weaknesses, so I'm not worried. Of course I do have my favorite program. The e-mail I got from match says you can't withdraw after Jan 8th. when you certify your list. So I'm thinking the non-match programs have to contact you before that????
Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday break.
the nonmatch porgrams must offer prior to match closing. there are serious consequences to backing out of a matched position such as not being able to be a member of AAPD, not being able to go thru match again and mre. so a program with non-match positions must offer before match closes to applicants - jan 8th - i would have to go back and see if it is midnight the seventhe or the 8th . I do know in the past one person who got that phone call on the very last day that match was open YIKES but good i guess - I am thinking I was luck to have gotten my call so early.Has anyone heard anything from NSU/Nova. keepin my fingers and toes crossed for good news for you!!!

Nothing
But didnt they say in the last email that they will let us know either way by Dec 25th?? What happenned then?!! I would think that even if they decide to reject you they would still send an email so we know to go ahead with Match!!!! Should we assume that we were rejected since we did not get any emails??? I am SOOO confused!

I heard that Loma Linda and Metro health have alread started offering positions. Good luck to everyone! 🙂
I confirmed with the Loma Linda Secretary today. If you have not heard from them by now you are rejected! their positions have already been accepted! ...oh well, means I have to Match!!!! now that's a scary thought!
