Peds elective in Africa

So a friend of mine has the opportunity to do a couple of peds electives in Zambia (UTH Lusaka) or Tanzania (Muhimbili Hospital in Dar). Does anyone have experience with any of the two sites? He can't decide on which place to choose. He wants to do peds so he really want to learn as much as possible. Any insight would be highly appreciated.
