For any peds trained guys out there, mind giving your input on your program and/or programs you considered when you applied. Any current peds fellows have any input?

I'm applying for a spot starting in July 2012. Ideally would like to get back to TX, but open to looking all around.

I can only speak to Hopkins-- in terms of case variety, it's second to none. You will do a ex-24 week 2 day old baby with NEC followed by a pedestrian struck head trauma (since hopkins is the regional peds trauma center). Every type of surgical specialty, including heart, kidney, liver transplant. Just no lung or gut transplants.
