To be a Pediatric Oncologist, i would do 3 years of a peds residency, then a onc. fellowship(?) My question is does it have to be a fellowship that it specifically for pediatricians?? or just a general fellowship? i have seen people refer to both
Also how competitive are pediatric sub specialties?
If i deciced to skip a fellowship, i can still be a hospitalist, correct? i ask this because i know that i don't want to be in Primary Care
what options are there for inpatient work as a pediatrician w.out doing a fellowship
Thank you
