The reference was to an article published in 2000 relating to expected salaries in 1999. It sounds about right for a large urban market in 1999.

Ha, were you unaware that gen peds has about the lowest salaries out there??
Specialize if you want the cash and want to take care of kids. Gen peds is not generally a high paying profession.
