What kind of pediatric stethoscope brands do you guys use?

I have a Littmann Pediatric for the little guys. It's less clunky compared to the Welch-Allyn Harvey Elite or HP Rappaport Sprague with the peds adapters screwed on.

Littman here too.

Littman Cardio III

It has an adult and pedi bell, great acoustics.

since I've been using only my peds steth for a couple years my old Cardio III feels so heavy around my neck in comparison!!

I use a littman peds scope. Can I hear like my littman cards, no -- but my murmur hearing skills have gotton better so its kind of a wash. Best thing about the peds scope is you can get one for about $65 so WHEN (not if) you lose it, it doesn't hurt as much.

Sorry to bother you with yet another stethoscope question, but do you recommend then the WA Harvey Elite for adult auscultation, and to not bother with the peds adaptor kits (since they're rather bulky), and use a Littmann Peds for peds instead? If so, do you feel Littmann produces the best peds stethoscope?

Thank you again for your advice.

The main reason I got the Littmann was because I go back and forth between adults and kids all day in the office, and switching out the attachments takes too long.

When I was in med school and residency, I used the Harvey Elite with peds attachments on all of my peds rotations. It worked great.

I haven't used any other dedicated peds stethoscopes except the Littmann, so I can't compare it to DRG or any of the others.
