Pee/NPee Classes?

What's your opinion about 1-2 unit P/NP (or P/F) classes? I've never taken one before and I'm thinking about signing up for a fun one (karate) and a biology one next semester.

What's your opinion? have you ever taken them? and what do you think about filling up units with them?

I don't think they hurt you...
I took a couple of pass/fail courses.
They were great! It was nice breaking up all those science courses and getting in a little fun!
It'll show you have other interests too! Typically those classes just require you to show up and do minimal work (nothing brain busting!).

what if you took 1 p/np class (seminars) each semester and were averaging around 14 units/semester?
