What's difference between peer pressure and conformity?
TPR and KA seem to use them interchangeably.

Peer pressure would seem to refer to the influence that someone, or some group, has on someone that encourages them to change their behaviors, beliefs, attitudes, etc. Conformity would be the actual act of comforming to the norms of that group/person.

Ah, makes sense. But can you have conformity without having the peer pressure based encouragement?

the term conformity is used specifically in the context of yielding to group/peer pressures, so we can't have conformity without peer pressure but there can be peer pressure without comformity
