does anyone know if step I rules will allow me to take in a some scratch paper? i'm guessing the anwer is no. Sometimes it helps me remember pathways and anatomy and other stuff if i draw it out. if i can't do it on the real test, i want to make sure not to do it for qbank.

you are not allowed to bring in any scratch paper. they will provide you with laminated cards and dry erase markers.

you basically walk in there with nothing. i had to leave my wallet, phone, watch and everything in my pocket in the locker

Anyone know if earplugs are okay?
not ok, at least at my center. they give you these bright orange earmuffs, which look like over-the-ear headphones. they don't have much padding and are tight, so they are rather uncomfortable.

They're not very effective either. We had several people taking their CPA exams and even with the headphones you can hear them typing away all day long. 😡

i took the practice test at my center and they gave me earplugs, which were amazing, because those cpa students typing are LOUD! i guess it must vary from center to center... so check yours out and see!

(ps hi bgreet! long time no see)

I was provided with earplugs and headphones, didn't use them though. It was very quite, there were a couple of CMA examinees but of course no CPA takers.
