Pending mcat on amcas primary

Is it possible to submit an amcas with a later mcat date indicated, but remove it after submission? specifically, i would like to submit now just to get my gpa and primary verified, but may or may not take the mcat again for this current application cycle. thanks a lot. i apologize if this question is already answered.

for those interested, but probably already knew, you can update the future mcat exam section after submitting.
