Does anyone remember when he talked about a dual program with the DMD aspect that was free of tuition (and i think you received a stipened too)?

I remember he mentioned it. You'd apply to the other program you're interested in separately based on their admission standards. Depending on what the other program is, you'd most likely have to spend an extra year or more, most likely in between years 2 and 3 to complete the requirements for the program. I was interested in learning more about it, but as difficult dental school already is, i think it'd be tough doing another program simultaneously.

didn't he mention something about a joint dmd/md program also, when he was talking about the selectives?

He did talk about it, but who can remmber???

I guess u can call and ask, they will be happy to answer and provide u with some info.

have you made your decision yet?
I was still waiting on UF, since I am non-resident yet although I moved to florida this last summer. They didnt give me a reply since september and so I withdrew. Is it a good school? would you choose it over Penn?

i don't think they give a stipend, but yes, there Dr. DeRossi said there is no additional tuition... if you still finish the combined degree program in 4 years.

I don't think he mentioned a DMD/MD program. Maybe, he said if you do OMFS at Penn you will get a MD degree. During your pre-doc training, I believe you can enroll in any masters level program at Penn (minus MBA) and pay no extra tuition. For the MBA, that is through Drexel University.

No I didnt...im vey confused at this point...I have a very nice offer (full ride) at one school, yet I am not sure that I want to go there for many reasons. Maybe I should start a threat "where should I go"? No im just kidding...soon ill decide...as of UF or UPenn both are very good schools. UF is much cheaper and if u want to stay in FL it might be a good idea to go there and UPenn I dont need to tell u...

Good Luck!!!!!

There are people at Penn doing their MBA through Wharton but it will take longer than 4 years to complete with their DMD

i remember Dr. DeRossi saying that you could get an MPH, masters in education, and another masters (can't remember in what) and you'd finish in 4 years and it would be included in your tuition
