Anyone have experience doing away rotations at any of the following schools?

Penn
Columbia
NYU
UVa
USC
UCLA
OHSU
UWashington?

Specifically looking at things like student involvement; welcomingness of the residents; personalized quality of the letters.

All are great. Go to one where you would like to (and have a realistic shot at) matching. I would not go to Penn or Columbia without a strong basic science research background.
