How many students are on the deans scholarship each year at Penn?

From any student currently on the deans scholarship, do you find it difficult to mantain a 3.0 GPA?

I think that they give it to 20 people a year. I was actually wondering if it would be hard to keep the 3.0 also. Could you let me know when you find out.

25 people a year. Chances are if you got it, you should have no problem maintaining a 3.0. I didn't get the scholarship and I am doing fine. It is not hard to do well here...we have an amazing schedule (1 test a week but no midterm or final week).

How did you get this Dean's Scholarship?
Do you have to make a separate application for it, or do they pick the top 25 applicants/students who are attending?

I got mine in the mail with my acceptance offer - you don't have to fill anything out, they just pick people.
