Does anyone know whats going on with Penn-- how long from when you got the completion letter did you receive an interview invite?

Are all the pre-dec interviews full?

Took them about a week to get back to me after my application was confirmed to be complete

I think I win. My app was fully, 100% complete on 8/5 and I JUST received the "application complete" letter on MONDAY. Super frustrating and kinda off-putting.

I submitted *everything* to Penn as soon as possible. My aadsas was mailed out in the first batch, and I sent my check and supplemental as soon as they were made available. However, I have yet to hear anything from them - so, I also assume rejection...

Stats don't guarantee an interview. Even stellar applicants get rejected for reasons unknown to man!

On the other hand, my endo claims that its because he called the school and told them NO WAY!

Yeah actually I have heard about the gunners in Penn. lol then again, I'm probably one of them.

i would feel better if Penn was upfront about these rejections--it would one more item i can cross off my list. (i actually like ucsf's policy of informing denied applicants right away)

Penn does everything by mail.

They probably got a great deal from a paper company, and bought tons of high quality paper back in the day before the internet. Now they have 30 years worth of high quality paper and need to get rid of them by doing everything by mail.

Same boat as OP. Been waiting since mid Sept. Assuming rejection, and I'm pretty sure all pre-Dec interviews have gone out.

It's still early in the cycle. Don't lose hope. I hope it works out for everyone. It's an amazing school..really great program.
